I have been serving as a reading intervention teacher for 15 years, with much success when utilizing an Orton Gillingham approach in my instruction.
During my time as an elementary teacher, I have also served students who struggle within the area of mathematics.
I have been working with students who have specific instructional needs that relate to the autism spectrum, ADHD, ADD, Dyslexia, and Anxiety for over 20 years.
My academic background includes a B.S. from Eastern Michigan University, and an M.Ed from the University of Toledo. I also hold an Ohio Teaching License for Early Childhood Education (Grades pre-k through 3rd grade).
Educating others brings me great joy and allows me to help others be confident and successful within their lives. It is so important to make learning a positive experience!
