I have served as an elementary teacher for 18 years; serving as a Reading Specialist for the majority of this time. I have had remarkable success in utilizing an Orton Gillingham approach in my instruction. I have utilized the Wilson Program for the past 14 years, and I am currently in the process of finishing my practicing to become a certified Wilson Level 1 Instructor (June 2022).

During my time as an elementary teacher, I have worked with students who have specific instructional needs that relate to the autism spectrum, ADHD, ADD, Dyslexia, and Anxiety. Additionally, I am trained in ABA therapy.

My academic background includes a B.S. from Eastern Michigan University, and an M.Ed from the University of Toledo. I also hold an Ohio Teaching License for Early Childhood Education (Grades pre-k through 3rd grade).
