I come from a long line of educators and truly believe that a little knowledge can go a long way. As a musician, my approach to learning is that we're at our best when we include the arts in our study. Think of a triangle with sides labeled Arts, Academics, Athletics - each part equal. Another way to see that is Mind, Body, Soul. I also am a supporter of turning STEM programs into STEAM by adding in Arts.
