Hello! Guten Tag! My passion is learning and helping others learn. I love to read, write my own stories, study foreign languages (currently learning Irish Gaelic), and have fun outside with my family. My little son likes the forest in particular.
I started learning Japanese when I was 16, and studied abroad in Japan during the fall of 2014. Learning different languages is fun for me and I want to share that joy with others, to "make the light come on". I've studied under poor and excellent language teachers, and know which methods work for a variety of students. This also includes the English language.
My experience lies in assisting the elderly, caring for a group of ladies with mental disabilities, and rearing my 20 m.o. son. But in all these situations I have learned how to communicate with many kinds of people, grow patience and flexibility, "tutor" on daily tasks, and still cultivate a love for learning about the world around me. Now I hope to nurture that love in others. And have a good time while we're at it.
