Hi. My name is Ann Thomas. I am a retired teacher with 35 years experience working with for the most part elementary students. My background is that of teaching all elementary subjects in addition to teaching children with dyslexia and specific learning disabilities. I also have a masters degree in teaching reading grades K-12. After teaching and retiring, I have been a part time tutor here in Hillsborough County at high poverty schools for 10 years. These positions were most teaching reading, but also sometimes teaching writing and math. I am available to tutor in Tampa 5 miles or less from my home.
