I was born and raised in Guatemala until age 12. Since I was a child, I knew my passion was teaching and I pursued my dream in the US despite obstacles. I obtained my BA in Childhood Education, MS in Special Education and an Advanced Certificate in Bilingual Education.
I appreciate different cultures and enjoyed working in a bilingual setting in different communities both in NY and now RI. In my experience working in schools, I have dedicated myself to working one-on-one and in small groups to both remediate and accelerate. Currently, I am a full time mother.
