I have a PhD in Organic and Inorganic chemistry from the University of British Columbia, with post-doctoral experience at Northwestern University. I have worked for 7+ year in the biotech industry at the forefront of chemistry and biology.

What I have learned is that skills in chemistry and in science apply to many different fields. Many things I learned in undergraduate I didn't think would be relevant and turned out be very relevant to solve complex problems and I believe showing the importance of what you learn and how it applies to real life is very important.
