I am a graduate of Washington State University, receiving my Ph.D. in Mathematics in 2019. Before my doctorate degree, I earned a Bachelors in Science degree from CSU Channel Islands. Throughout my academic pursuits, I have taught classes and tutored in a variety of areas of mathematics, including Algebra 1 and 2, Pre-Calculus, College Algebra, Calculus 1/AB, and Linear Algebra. One of my favorite things about helping others in mathematics is seeing their confidence grow. I get so much joy form students celebrating their first A on a math test. Mathematics is hard and its easy to feel discouraged; I aim to not only help students learn the concepts and to be more forgiving to themselves when they make a mistake. In my spare time, I enjoy learning new things like coding. I also enjoy cooking, hiking, reading, and watching a variety of TV shows.
