I accept and/or create challenges, ones that have meant braving blizzards to attend Berklee College of Music in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for the attainment of my B.M. or tornado alley while in classes at USM, Hattiesburg, MS, and staying until I matriculated in the field of Workforce Training and Development with a MS. Herzing University between 2009-2011 granted my MBA to me, and online schooling was challenging but not like the tempestuous weather and perilous terrain situations that in earlier years I had been forced to stoically trudge through. Persist through all of it I did!
At the time I enrolled in Herzing University, I also enrolled on a tutoring website and since 2009, my savvy as a tutor has made me pensive, enthusiastic, and even gleeful. By now with tutoring as my full-time occupation, I am so happy with e learning as a major enabler! Lessons in writing, math, reading, test preparation, and ELA to all levels of students enrich my weekly life. If I am offered editing, writing, and/or reading, I am very pleased; one could assume that writing and reading are my favorite subjects to teach.
Because I believe that students can make progress if they have the willingness to prepare and organize their material, I stress the two skills in my lessons. I address young students through the lower levels of Bloom's Taxonomy and expect higher-level students to respond to the upper levels of the same scale.
Admiration of museum paintings, bird-whistles and amateur sports games while walking through the local park, investigating tree types and indoor/outdoor plant needs, price comparisons, and here in the start of 2020, a big wish to relocate if I can plan it so that it is manageable, to a snowy world (one in the west of the USA) again in 2022 but this time to one that includes grocery deliveries, a car in its usual parking space, most if not all of frozen tundra time, and e-learning to support myself---gee, all of that---isn't much to list as my interests but is a beginning for you to know me.
