Born in Puerto Rico and my first language being Spanish, I graduated in the area of Special Education. I have a Bachelor and Master of Arts in Education with a major in Special Education mild disabilities. In addition, I have courses in the area of autism. I have also been qualified to lead groups and individuals, and I work with children, teenagers, and adults individually.
With more than 12 years of experience in all grade levels from Pre-K through 12 grade, teaching them reading and writing in Spanish and English, I have been working with the majority of disabilities, with the individualized program for each student according of their needs (IEP), development of instruction plans, and in building relationships between parents, teachers and students. I have also had a solid educational foundation and a passion for teaching centered on values and respect of learning environment.
