I am currently an English teacher with 6 years of teaching experience. I have worked with students with various needs and backgrounds in English and writing topics. I have a particular focus on SAT and ACT prep (Reading and Writing components), English assignments, projects, or papers for middle and high school students, and college-level research papers. I have a Bachelors degree in sociology and writing from Ithaca College, a Masters in Education from Johns Hopkins University and a Masters in Education Leadership from Columbia University

I enjoy reading, mountain biking, and going for long hikes. One of my favorite things to do is travel. I have recently been to Costa Rica, Turkey, and Spain. I also have a passion for cooking and grilling in the summer. I used to coach rugby at my old school and played in college, and I sometimes help coach the wrestling team at my current school.
