About Me

People learn in different ways. Some subjects come naturally, others not so much. And so I consider different approaches. It's important to me to build a rapport with students. I am the mother of two adult children who during their education had the need for tutoring. As I shared with my children, tutoring does not mean you have a deficiency, it's simply means you need someone to help you learn in a different way than what you were being taught. For adult learners, professional development has been a significant part of my management of employees. Lastly, I'm a big believer in positive reinforcement and only positive. Just by attending a tutoring session is a positive step and so each session begins on a positive note. I possess a bachelor of arts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a master of international management with a concentration in international trade and finance from the Thunderbird school of global management.
