I am a rising freshman at the University of Chicago. I grew up learning German and I am an aspiring molecular engineer.
My experience as a classroom leader comes mostly from volunteer work. Throughout high school I ran a math enrichment program for underprivileged middle schoolers, volunteered as a classroom aid, and worked with young children on literacy skills through a program called Jumpstart.
I love teaching, which is why I pursued a position as a counselor at a German immersion summer camp. It is currently my third summer, and I have learned so much about immersive teaching and learning language through games and activities.
I mostly teach German to children, but I have worked with people of all ages including adults, which I also enjoy. Teaching is my passion, and I would love to continue, so please reach out if you're interested!
