To educate the people who matter with the subjects that matter.
Learning has been such a big part of my life. From an early age, my parents signed me up for Saturday classes for kids at the nearest college, Purdue University. These classes were called "Super Saturdays" and boy were they! Learning things like logic, biology, and what I ended up studying in college, Chemistry. I loved these classes and look back on them as where my love for learning started.
Several teachers/professors have had a very personal impact on my life that have influenced my love for learning. My high school Chemistry teacher was a great educator, as well as a spiritual mentor. My Junior and Senior English teacher helped me go from an average writer to one who truly loves to write (which is good because my graduate program requires a lot of it). Most of all, my mother, a 30+ high school and elementary teacher has constantly kept learning and education in my life as long as I can remember. Education has been one of the biggest parts of my life and I hope to help others enjoy it as well!
