I'm currently a sophomore at UNLV studying mechanical engineering. Before my higher education I attended Southwest Career and Technical Academy and played football at Silverado High School. After graduating with an Honors Diploma, I went to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and began a degree in Aeronautical Engineering. While there I worked as the business team lead for a research project attempting a new style of wing design, but came the the conclusion that while engineering was a good fit, aerospace engineering was not. I subsequently transferred over to UNLV where I am currently pursuing my degree.
My mother has been a 1st grade teacher for 17 years, and as a result of the proximity, I have helped with many events at the school. I am excellent with young children being able to keep them very intrigued in whatever they are working on.
I mainly focus on math up to calculus and science classes, however I am completely fluent in Spanish and can tutor any level of high school Spanish and below.
I am a football and video game fanatic. I participate in multiple fantasy leagues and am always looking for a new game to challenge me. I am also an avid reader and usually tear through a book a week.
I hope to inspire people to pursue a career in the sciences
