I'm so excited to be a part of Varsity Tutor! I must tell you that teaching is my passion, therefore I'm going to love tutoring!

I've been a teacher for the past 10 years. I earned my Master of Science degree in elementary education from Alabama A&M University, in Huntsville, AL. This past school year I worked as a math interventionist for grades 3-5 in Orlando, FL.

While teaching in Anniston, AL, my third-grade class won the school trophy for making the most gains in grades 1-3 on Alabama's benchmark assessment. This was quite an achievement for us because there were two English Language Learners (ELL students) in the class; one of whom was among a select few who made the most gains individually.

I enjoy walking, singing, reading, baking, and vegan cookery.
