I received my Masters of Science in Mathematics at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and by Bachelors of Arts in Mathematics at Whittier College. After finishing my bachelors, I spend two years tutoring underserved students in math as an Americorps fellows. With patience, grit, and understanding I helped show my students that they could accomplish anything in math when they put their mind to it. After that I spent time at a private tutoring center where I helped students improve their SAT, ACT, and other standardized test scores.
I firmly believe though goal setting, practice, and good coaching anyone can achieve their academic goals. Though all of the students I have worked this, this has been a formula that has helped each and every one perform to their best. During my tutoring sessions, I help students not just get though the math, but also help build foundational knowledge to answer how to do each and every problem they encounter.
While not tutoring or studying, you can find me running, climbing, or chilling with my two cats, Euler and Gauss.
