In learning as in anything else, the best way to learn is to practice; if you don't actually have experience in doing it, you probably won't be able to do it at all. My function, then, is simply that of a coach. If you find yourself having trouble in learning something, I'm here to guide you. I'll put you through exercises and, if necessary, come up with a regimen for you. Hopefully, you won't need me too much, but if you're struggling and you find yourself in need of assistance, I am here for you.
I got my Bachelor's in Political Science from Stony Brook, and I got my Master's in Political Science from Columbia. I don't have much experience at the moment, but I have had successful sessions with 3-4 students, and I am able to explain things to people and remain calm in doing so. I tutor math (up to Calc I), English (up to AP-level), Spanish (up to AP-level), Physics (Regents-level), German (up to intermediate), French, Latin (both elementary), and the SATs and GREs. Of the subjects I've tutored so far, I'd say math is my favorite because it is highly objective and it comes very naturally to me. My interests outside of academics include music, playing music, and, obviously, politics (don't worry, I'm not a nut). Feel free to reach out if you think I can help you, and hopefully, I'll be able to.
