I am a senior level business intelligence developer for a large health insurance company. I received my Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Wright State University in 2003. I started working in the IT field before my graduation as an intern and have been employed in the field ever since. Early in my career I realized that I have a talent for translating technical topics and concepts into terms that people with or without a technical background can understand. I enjoy using that skill in personal and professional life. I have often conducted training for technical teams and served as the liaison between technical and non- technical departments. My friends and family know that I am happy to assist with software related questions. I have a passion for helping people to learn skills that help them to feel more capable and empowered. I pursue this in my professional life and in my free time by volunteering to assist adult ESOL students learn English. I approach tutoring with patience, respect, and curiosity. I have a genuine desire to understand a person's goals and how I can best help to achieve them.
