I am driven to help those who share the same passions as me. Both music and living in France have shaped my life and made me who I am. I want to help others advance in music and the French language by sharing what I have spent my life working on.

Although I was born and raised in Chicago, I was fortunate enough to study in Grenoble, France last year (2017-2018) and I would not have traded it for the world. I was inspired to spend a year abroad because of my experiences during high school. During that time period I frequently had the opportunity to travel to France during the summer months where I developed my deep love for the French language, culture, cuisine, and people. I decided to later study at the Universit Grenoble Alpes because of the inspiration that I acquired through these trips. I have recently completed my B.A. in French and my B.A. in Psychology from a university in Tennessee.

I have been taking music lessons for as long as I can remember. I currently play violin, double bass, piano, and guitar. I have been a member of eight orchestras and I have taught music lessons in Chicago. I have played in my university's orchestra for two years and I am currently taking violin and bass lessons.

In my free time, I enjoy playing volleyball, playing tennis, dancing, and skiing. I have traveled extensively through Europe and I hope to do much more in the future. Through Varsity Tutors I have the chance to tutor students in French, Conversational French, French 1, French 2, French 3, French 4, Languages, Music, and Violin. Although I am able to tutor in these nine subject areas, my personal favorites are Conversational French and Music because I have the most confidence in those areas.

Both learning to play an instrument and learning a second language strengthen areas of the brain which can help in other aspects of studies and work life. I am excited to make a difference by teaching my passions to other students.
