A native of Arkansas, I graduated from American University in Washington, DC in 2015. Since then, I have worked with nonprofits in the Philadelphia region, in India, and in DC. Currently, I'm working for a human rights nonprofit in DC, where I do all sorts of data analysis.
I've been fortunate enough to work and live around the world - most recently working with goat farmers in India (long story). In college, I studied abroad in Jordan.
My background as a tutor is a bit unconventional: at each of these nonprofits my job included training and teaching my coworkers technical data and computer skills. Additionally, I've worked as a tour guide throughout the years during summers in school or on the weekends when working for nonprofits. Finally, while in college, I worked as a Teaching Assistant for an intro-to-religions course.
I've always been passionate about teaching (in its many forms). As a lifelong learner, I am excited to help you in your educational goals! While I tutor across many subjects, I'm most passionate about social sciences, mathematics, and standardized tests.
