Hello! My name is "Shy" and I have more than 10 years of experience working in education as a teacher, counselor and an administrator.

I have tutored students from Kindergarten through 10th grade in math and reading. I recently decided to stay at home with my two young daughters and left my job working for the Minnesota Department of Education.

Having worked in the education field for so long, I know the importance for kids to receive proper supports in areas that they are struggling. I also know that students need to work with someone who truly cares. I am a passionate educator and mother who approaches working with children with respect, kindness, care and patience.
