Hi! I recently graduated from Duke University with a B.S. in Psychology and minors in Chemistry and Biology. I was a Computer Science teaching assistant in college, and I also worked as a math and science mentor for elementary school girls. I was pre-med, so I am most passionate about teaching chemistry and biology and helping students to prep for the MCAT. I also enjoy helping students prep for other standardized tests such as the ACT and the SAT. My teaching philosophy is to not only answer students' questions, but also to help them understand topics at a conceptual level so that they can solve any problem that comes their way. Additionally, I hope to help students 'learn how to learn' using outside resources so that they can become independent learners. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, crocheting, and pampering my pets.
