ANY CHILD CAN LEARN
My philosophy to teaching is to teach my students HOW they learn. It is not up to my student to adjust to my teaching. I feel very strongly that if my teaching is not working, it is up to me to adjust to the learning style of my student. I follow the "Growth Mindset" that each child given enough time and energy can learn ANYTHING.
I have been teaching for 15 years overseas. I taught in Indonesia, South Africa and Saudi Arabia. The majority of the time I spent was in Saudi Arabia working for Saudi Aramco. I enjoy learning about new cultures...obviously. I also have my Masters in International Counseling from Lehigh University and I am two classes away from my second Masters in School Counseling from Concordia University in Wisconsin. Currently, I live in Texas as we moved here when my husband was transferred from Saudi Arabia. I have five beautiful children and I come from a family of ten. Thus, I have tremendous experience in the communication department:)
