I am a graduate of The University of Georgia where I earned Bachelor of Science in Biochemical Engineering. After graduating in 2017, I traveled extensively in Europe and Southeast Asia. Through traveling I gained passion for sharing experiences, knowledge, and culture. At one point while overseas I volunteered at a Youth's Day Center where my main focus was to inspire kids to pursue higher education in STEM. I spent most of my time speaking about science and technology, its importance and the future. My volunteering experience inspired me to help the community and to prove to as many people as I can that math and science don't always have to be scary, sometimes they can be fun too.
While at UGA I spent a lot of time in small friend groups doing homework, preparing for exams, and teaching one another the material each one of us understood best. I learn best visually, and my teaching style heavily relays on logic. As an engineer I've learned that knowing how to approach a problem calmly, applying what knowledge you have, and checking to see if the answer makes sense truly demonstrates understanding. I believe that the process is always more important than the outcome, and when the process is perfected, the outcome comes naturally. I will help you think outside the box and find a process that makes most sense to you.
I believe I'm most effective when tutoring math and chemistry since I'm the most knowledgeable in these areas. Also, I pride myself for being extremely patient. I like to treat my students as my peers, and I don't give up easily. I believe everyone is capable of doing these maths and sciences.
