My name is Rachel Rhodes and I am a recent alumna of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I grew up in Charlotte, NC, and moved to New York City after earning my undergraduate degree in media and journalism, political science and French language and literature. I am currently working full time as an account coordinator at Rubenstein, a strategic communications firm in Hell's Kitchen. There, I develop communications and marketing strategies for hedge funds, private equity funds, asset management firms and activist investors, as well as other Fortune 500 corporations.

I tutored regularly throughout high school and college in a variety of subjects and found a wealth of personal fulfillment watching my students achieve their academic goals and, eventually, their professional dreams. In fact, during each semester of college, I volunteered weekly for an organization called HYPE (Helping Youth by Providing Enrichment). It was such a privilege to develop relationships with K-12 youth in underserved communities and watch them improve in all areas of their academic portfolio with the help of me and my fellow volunteers. Since moving to Manhattan, I have missed sharing my passions and knowledge with others and felt called to tutor again! I am so excited to meet hardworking students of all ages around the area and develop their reading, writing, political science, English, grammar, and/or French language skills!
