I'm a graduate of Furman University and have worked for 5 years as Math teacher from middle school through AP Calculus where I also constructed Geometry and Calculus curricula. I have also worked as a tutor for Middle school students up to undergrad math majors. Teaching and doing Mathematics is my passion, and my goal has always been to spread that excitement to those who I teach. Math is a place of comfort for me so seeing it as a source of anxiety for others is awful! I work especially with those who feel frustrated or initimidated by Math. I have tutored many people and the number one response I hear from clients is that after working with me, they now feel confident when facing hard problems. Math, like most other things in life, is more about practice than skill. With the right amount of effort you can become great at mathematics and I love to help people find the ways to practice that help them improve quickly and enjoyably!
