I'm an ASU graduate with a BS in biology, focusing on microbiology and a minor in sustainability. I currently work as a microbiology lab technician and I absolutely love it! I have succeeded in advance courses such as: biology, microbiology, bacterial physiology, cell biology, developmental biology, genetics, evolution, animal physiology, and ecology. My love for biology developed in high school when a teacher changed the way I thought about the subject and studying itself. I love to apply his tactics when tutoring such as drawing and using visuals to enhance understanding, making real world or silly relations to help retain information, and applying the newly learned knowledge in fun ways such as a game or contest.
Originally from New England, I chose to attend ASU not only for its credibility and connections but also for the opportunity to travel the West Coast. My hobbies include hiking with my dog, yoga, skiing, and photography which helps fuel my love for adventure. My creativity allows me to come up with multiple ways to explain a particular subject to ensure complete understanding.
