I have a B.S. and Ph.D. in Chemistry and throughout my career have been drawn to the relationship between chemistry and biological phenomenon. I have 7 years of teaching experience at the undergraduate college level where I have taught Introduction to Biochemistry, Cellular Metabolism, Molecular Biology, General Chemistry, and all of their associated labs.
I really love teaching and truly believe that anyone can learn anything if they have an open mind, put in the work, and have a good teacher to guide them along the way. I enjoy working one on one with students to get to know where they are academically in individual classes and to help them get where they want to go, whether it's a specific grade in a class or an overall professional goal. I am happy to work with graduate, undergraduate, and high school students.
In my spare time, I take ballet classes, practice photography, and volunteer at my local animal shelter.
