I am a trained and certified secondary math teacher. I have taught for three years in a public high school and enjoy math from middle school up through the university level. The subjects that I have taught are Geometry and Algebra II. I have tutoring experience in 8th grade math, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, AP Calculus, and University Calculus I, II, and III.

As a teacher I have also assisted students in preparing for state standardized tests, the PSAT, and the SAT. I recently prepared for and did well on the GRE as I am enrolled in a Mathematics Master's program. I would love to pass on study tips for all of these tests and help students to prepare for the math sections of them.

I believe that every student can learn math but that all students learn in different ways. As a trained teacher I have developed many strategies for helping students that have struggled with math in the past. I hope that I can help you to build your math skills and confidence as your tutor.
