As a current student, I have found great value in education and the power it brings to others. I am passionate about helping other students succeed because I know the value that a strong educational background can have in any walk of life. I attended the Academy for Allied Health and Biomedical Sciences and am now part of a 7 Year Guaranteed Admissions Program from The College of New Jersey to New Jersey Medical School. I just finished my first year at The College of New Jersey and look forward to my future. Science has always spoken to me and so I decided to make it my career path. As far as helping other students, I have tutored kids ranging from elementary school to high school in topics like math, science, and reading. I learned very much about tutoring and helping others through the program I volunteered for. I like tutoring science of all kind as it is my favorite subject in school. I also like tutoring for standardized exams like SAT Biology and the actual SAT. As far as my teaching style, the one word that I would use to define it would be synergy. I believe that education is not just ab out lecture and notetaking. I believe that in a lecture, the students involvement and participation is just as important as the instructor presenting the material. I believe that this helps the student to truly master the material. I also love questions from students because I believe asking questions is an essential part of understanding the topic of study. Outside of academia, I love to sing, I play soccer, and I enjoy spending time with friends.
