I am a Dominican Peruvian American young professional, University of Rhode Island Alumna, graduate of the 2014 class. I received a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Human Development and Family Studies with a focus on community settings, as well as a minor in Psychology.
Through my work in the nonprofit sector, I have learned to think outside of the box and get creative when it comes to assisting folks reach their personal and educational goals. I am passionate and patient when teaching phonics, writing, reading, the English language, and the Spanish language. I believe that education is necessary to improve the quality of life and I pass on the admiration for learning and growing to all of my students. In my spare time I enjoy reading, traveling, hiking, cooking, and basketball.
