I am a graduate of Colorado School of Mines with a two bachelor degrees: Chemical and Biochemical Engineering and Chemistry with a Biochemistry Specialty. In addition, I am attending the Ohio State University to pursue my PhD in Biophysics. My research is in Quantum Computational Chemistry in relation to the development fragmentation approaches for biomolecues.
I have tutored with VT for over five years and have had the pleasure of tutoring for a broad selection of subjects. I have been a TA for General Chemistry and Physical Chemistry. This semester I was nominated and received a teaching award for the Chemistry department.
My passion is in STEM fields, but I also love public speaking. In high school I competed with the NFL in Public Forum (partner debate) and International Extemporaneous Speaking at a national level.
