I am a graduate of Colorado School of Mines with a double degree in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering and Chemistry with a Biochemistry Specialty. In addition, I am attending the Ohio State University to pursue my PhD in Biophysics. My passion is in STEM fields, but I also love public speaking. In high school I competed with the NFL in Public Forum (partner debate) and International Extemporaneous Speaking. I have been a TA for General Chemistry I and get very excited to see my students grow! My research is in Physical Computational Chemistry in relation to the development of quantum level accuracy using 'embarrassingly parallelizable" methodologies, such as molecular fragmentation schemes . In my free time I enjoy volunteering, in particular with the Global Down Syndrome Foundation. I also rock climbing on a semi-professional level and coach the OSU team.
