I am a double major graduate from the University of Kansas with degrees in Japanese Literature and Language as well as Linguistics. Additionally, I hold a certificate of global awareness from my semester abroad in Nagoya, Japan. My next goals are to obtain government proficiency in Japanese (JLPT N2) and Chinese (TOCFL level 3). I most enjoy teaching languages as they are forms of expression. As a result, I have ample experience writing essays and crafting statements in and outside of the English language. Aside from teaching, I like to travel, play Frisbee with my dog, and delve into technical and competitive video games.
