My name is Sage Smith. I am a current student at Kent State University majoring in Fashion Design with a minor in Costume Design. Though I am attending school for an artsier major, I have always enjoyed and excelled at mathematics, sciences, and English.

When it comes to tutoring, I always do my best to explain the concepts being taught in terms that my student can understand and apply. In order to accomplish this, I may use analogies, visual aids, practice problems, mental exercises, incentives such as breaks and snacks, and/or whatever else I believe will be beneficial to the student's understanding of the subject. If hired, I will encourage and motivate the student, further explaining concepts as necessary to best ensure the student's continued success even after they've moved on from tutoring.
