My name is Rene Moloney and it is my goal to not only find a way to help students understand math, but to make learning this subject, fun. I began my career in 2007 when I attended Eastern Michigan University. I completed my Bachelors degree by majoring in Elementary education and minoring in Special Education K-12. After graduation in 2010, my first job was at Crescent Academy where I worked with students with special needs in grade levels K-12. My focus at that time was developing math and reading skills. In 2012, I began teaching at River Rouge high school. Here I learned that my strengths were in teaching math, which soon became my focus. Throughout the past 6 years, I have been co-teaching in the general education classroom. I work with both special and general education students in Algebra, Geometry and any other area of math that is needed. I am very creative, which helps me to find teaching strategies that make learning math fun and easy.
