I currently teach College Composition at Tidewater Community College as an adjunct instructor, and I've been teaching there for five years. I have three years of experience tutoring students one-on-one in college-level writing and French. I have also tutored friends and family in Algebra and developmental math.

When tutoring, my goal is to support students as they complete assignments, helping them accurately assess if they've met the assignment's criteria and enabling them to submit their best possible work. I prefer to focus on long-term goals, so in addition to helping students complete individual assignments, I seek to help them acquire an in-depth understanding of the subjects they are studying.
