I am a Research Scientist at the University of Central Florida (UCF), where I got my Ph.D. in Optics (as a part of Physics and Laser Science) in 2011.
I have very strong background in mathematics and physics. Back in Ukraine, from where I came to Florida 14 years ago, I was pursuing my Ph.D. in theoretical nuclear physics.
I was tutoring different students for many years in various natural sciences, mostly in mathematics in physics, from high school level to university graduate school classes.
My focus in tutoring is to provide a patient comfort help with acquiring a clear understanding of basic concepts. Solid understanding of fundamentals will allow the student to solve other similar problems in own independent efficient manner.
In case of tutoring in person, I prefer to meet at UCF campus or surrounding places.
Outside of academia, I like meeting with friends and being around people, as Antoine de Saint-Exupery, the author of "The Little Prince", said, "The only real luxury is the luxury of human communication".
