As a child, I was usually dubbed "teachers helper' and loved to play school. I grew up as a military child and was raised all over the United States. Having to move every few years and adapt to new surroundings was a challenge for me. However, that challenge brought so many wonderful experiences that made me who I am today.
I attended three elementary schools, two middle schools, and three high schools. This has allowed me to experience a variety of scholastic perspectives and I'm excited to implement my favorite practices from those schools.
After high school, I attended Virginia State University and received a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies. I also obtained a professional collegiate license with a preK-6 endorsement. My desire is to be able to teach all grade levels and eventually open my own school. I want to make a difference in education on a global scale and my passion for children and helping others is the driving force behind it.
