I have 25 years of teaching experience teaching Elementary school students in a traditional classroom setting and I currently do private tutoring in my area. I look forward to helping your child grow and gain confidence as a learner. I graduated Cum Laude from St. Norbert College with a major in Elementary Education and a minor in Spanish. I also have a master's degree in Teaching English as a Second Language. I can tutor students in all elementary subject areas, as well as beginning Spanish, but my love is teaching math. I have had great success helping struggling math students gain skills and confidence they need to feel good about their abilities and achieve success with their. The majority of my classroom teaching has been with 4th graders. However, as a guest teacher for the past 7 years I have had the privilege of working with students of a variety of ages and abilities. I stopped working full time to stay at home with our two sons who are now 13 and 15. When not substitute teaching or tutoring, you can find me doing laundry or driving carpool!
