I am a published Ph.D. scientist who desires to inspire and help students understand science and math. My interest in tutoring developed while mentoring high school and undergraduate students during my graduate studies at The Rockefeller University in New York.
I have a natural talent and passion for helping students and layman understand complex scientific concepts. Utilizing innovative, tailored explanations, I help students truly understand concepts and develop critical-thinking skills. Using these techniques I have mentored individuals, held small group question and answer sessions, led undergraduate lab sections, and lectured to hundreds at professional conferences.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading the latest scientific publications, trading stocks, programming video games, cooking and gardening.
