Hi I'm Lindsay! I graduated from Harvard with a degree in Biological Anthropology while fulfilling my pre-med requirements. My degree was great as it allowed me to combine my loves of history, science, and writing! I then worked for 3 years in a clinical research role before attending and graduating medical school at the University of Queensland.
My passion for learning and teaching comes from my mother, who taught high school level English and History for over 30 years. She taught me the value of education and how rewarding it can be when a student suddenly grasps a difficult concept. Through the skills she taught me, I tutored both basic sciences to elementary age students and ballroom dance to adults while I was in college. I further enhanced my teaching style during medical school with small group tutoring sessions and mentees with whom I worked to ensure their success academically and professionally.
I feel every tutoring situation is unique and adapt my teaching based on the needs of the student. It is my goal that students enjoy tackling tough subjects while discovering their learning style as that will set them up for greater accomplishments in the future!
I hope to hear from you soon if you think we would be a good match for tutoring! I typically respond within a few hours and have a very flexible schedule.
