Hi! I'm a working freelance classical musician. I predominantly work as a professional choral singer and soprano soloist for a number of musical organizations in the northeast. I also teach voice/piano/choir/general music skills to a wide variety of age groups and abilities.
My lifetime participation in music scholarship and performance has led me to develop all the skills necessary to succeed in teaching a wide variety of subject matter. The study of music has developed both left and right brain approaches to learning and I hope I can pass these skills on to your student!
Apart from music, my greatest skills lie in reading and writing. I am an excellent crafter of research papers and essays through the use of outlines and formulas easily teachable to students of any level!
I am very kind, patient, reliable and I approach teaching with a sense of fun and humor. I looking forward to helping your student learn!
I have a Masters degree in vocal performance and pedagogy from Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ and Bachelors degrees in music and sociology/anthropology from Guilford College in Greensboro, NC.
