I received a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Texas Tech University. During my college years, I participated in several activities that involved working with students of various ages. I have traveled to Bogota, Colombia to minister in Spanish to elementary and middle school students. In one session, my team and I helped students practice their English through the use of songs and games. I am knowledgeable about various subjects, but Im most passionate about mathematics, Algebra being my specialty. Though many students would list math as their least favorite subject, I have always had a love for it, and find it enriching to help other students in their understanding of its concepts. I believe that all students can learn, and that all they need is instruction, encouragement, and confidence. I intend to provide these for all the students that I come into contact with, and I strongly believe that my students will succeed. When Im not tackling equations and graphs, I enjoy reading, singing, painting, and playing card games (UNO, Phase10, etc.).
