I graduated Grayslake Central High School as a High Honor Roll student, and I am excited to spread my knowledge to students of any age. Working with the student's abilities, I try to adapt my teaching style to best fit the student. In general, I provide examples of how to complete a certain task before asking the student to work out a problem on their own. Repetition of this practice is key!
Now I am working towards a Computer Science degree at Lake Forest College. I speak English, Russian, and Spanish. Previously, I tutored my peers and elementary students in Computer Science, math, and Spanish. Beyond these subjects, I tutor students in art and composition, edit essays for colleges, scholarships, or classes, and teach the basics of Russian.
Outside of academia, I actively practice art by painting, drawing, or doing digital art. I also play tennis and do yoga when I am not practicing the piano and drums.
