I graduated with a B.S. degree in Biochemistry from the University of the Incarnate Word from San Antonio, Texas. I am currently working on my Master's degree in Microbiology with a concentration in Medical Microbiology and Biochemistry from the University of Florida. With this i work in a microbiology laboratory testing blood and blood components for microorganisms and identification purposes.
With tutoring, i enjoy seeing students strive and obtain success with the courses they are enrolled in. The way i do this is by tailoring my sessions to the student's needs starting from day one. This means i listen and understand your fears and concerns with your course(s), listen to what you have tried to do, learn your goals for the course and with your degree and listen to how much you know about the subject. I then offer advice on how to study for the course you are in, work through various problems with you to make sure you understand the concepts, and i guide you to the right answer with breaking down tough concepts to be more understanding through real life examples, my own experiences, and jokes.
My overall philosophy when it comes to tutoring others is: To empower the mind of every individual with the knowledge and "tools" to do greatness and be successful no matter how big or how small.
