My educational and work background includes international business (MBA), international development (MA), anthropology (PhD), and leadership and development.
Teaching is my passion. I have a strong commitment to continuously developing my pedagogical expertise and I continually evaluate my teaching methods and adjust classes to meet the needs of diverse students. Additionally, I focus on utilising various methods that help to produce a positive and professional learning environment. I create a balance between teaching and student involvement. This includes incorporating up to date technology, keeping up to date on the subjects I teach and using a variety of tools including media (podcast, documentaries, etc.), academic and mainstream readings, exercises, and assignments that engage students.
I have years of experience teaching and tutoring students ranging from ages 7-69. I have also worked with mature and non-traditional students and understand the challenges they face in progressing to further and higher education. Furthermore, I have experience working with international and national students.
