The student completed a practice test, untimed, as I had suggested, and did very well. She scored 24/27 on reading and nearly as well on the reasoning sections. Her only difficulty was with one logic game. However, once I showed her how to set that game up, she had no problem with it. We then spent a lot of time on reasoning questions, analyzing questions she had missed.

We continued to split our time between reading comp and logical reasoning this session, but spent a little more time on LR this time. We both agree that she has a better chance of improving her score on that section in the short amount of time she has. We talked through some more assumption, strengthen and weaken questions that she missed, and then really focused on principle questions, which I think she was misunderstanding a bit. I told her to start timing herself over the weekend on all sections.
