Teaching and equality are two of my biggest passions in life. I thrive on the feeling of when a student finally understands something that he or she had not initially and seeing the break through smile he or she wears after he or she applies the new found information.
While going through school myself I suffered from test anxiety due to PTSD as well as a later diagnosed anxiety disorder. Through artwork and self taught coping mechanisms I was able to overcome this and apply my learned skills onto fellow students. Teachers recognized my ability to actively problem solve and help students in my classes, and later on placed me in study halls where I spent extra time with students who had learning disabilities as well as cognitive disorders because of my patience ability to get along with most people.
Now living life as an adult, my job requires me to train people in various age groups with a high level of diversity in cultural backgrounds, education levels, personality types and learning styles. Having this experience I have developed a working knowledge of Spanish. I look forward to working with you and creating a clear and concise plan to help you achieve your learning goals!
