I am a graduate of The University of Missouri-Kansas City. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Economics in 2009. Since graduation, I have under taken various internship and job opportunities where I applied economic theory to real-world application. I???ve worked in the Government, the private sector and a central bank. These experiences have enhanced my understanding of the economy, as it has gave insight into training in economics and its application in applied research.
I also have some experience tutoring students of different age groups and levels of education. While I can tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about Economics. In college, I gained a deep interest in Economics and other related subjects which enabled me to grasp the material quickly and help my peers. After college, I also have successful tutored a masters student in Managerial Economics. This was an enjoyable experience for the both of us. I possess a friendly and professional demeanor and approach, which has allowed for a relaxed, fun and pleasant learning experience.
I find tutoring and teaching students to be very gratifying and believe education is key. Any investment in one???s human capital is a worthwhile investment. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, listening to music, playing basket ball, video games, watching YouTube and Netflix, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.
