I would like to teach music in the style I learned from my favorite instructors, which would include not only the fundamentals of theory and reading, but also music appreciation, history, aural training, and composition. Whether a student prefers popular, classical, or jazz styles, I hope to facilitate deeper enjoyment and analysis of music while pursuing basic goals such as competency with their instrument and performance progress.
